MAMMA MIA! coming to Victoria July 31 – August 5 2012!
MAMMA MIA!, the world famous hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, is scheduled to perform at the intimate Royal Theatre for just one week next summer, July 31 – August 5, 2012. That is only 8 shows, so tickets are sure to go fast. Performances are scheduled for the following times: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm. Sunday evening at 7:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2:00pm.
Seen by over 50 million people around the world, Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus’ global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, is celebrating over 4,000 performances in its tenth smash hit year at Broadway’s Winter Garden Theatre and remains among Broadway’s top selling musicals. Mamma Mia! tells the story of an independent, single mother and her spirited soon-to-be-wed daughter, Sophie. Unbeknownst to her mother, Sophie has invited three special guests to her wedding in a quest to find the identity of her father. The funny and heartwarming story has had audiences around the world singing along to ABBA hits such as Dancing Queen, S.O.S. and Take a Chance on Me.
