Fatburger opening in Victoria October 15, 2011

If you’ve been anxiously waiting for Fatburger to arrive on the island, your wishes will be coming true soon. Construction will begin on Monday at their first location at 1209 Douglas Street (formerly Tall Girl), with the hopes of opening by October 15. (**EDIT: As of October 28 November 8 December 8, Fatburger is still not open for business yet)
If you’ve never been to a Fatburger before, they aren’t your regular fast-food burger joint. Fatburgers may share common themes such as retro styling, and a throwback experience. They aim to stay away from cookie-cutter location layouts though, and this new Victoria location will be no different. Fatburger Victoria will be a 50-seat “urban-styled” restaurant featuring an eat-in and takeout menu with all the Fatburger staples, from the Baby Fat Burger and skinny fries to the XXXL Triple King and fat fries.
