The Victoria Pride Society started from a casual picnic in Beacon Hill Park over 20 years ago. Since then, the Victoria Pride Society has focused on supporting the inclusiveness, accessibility, and diversity of Pride Week events.

This year, Pride Week will take place from July 1 until July 8, with a number of events going on throughout the week. Pride Week kicks off with an Art Walk & Exhibition on June 30, and ends on July 8 with the always popular Pride Parade through the street of downtown Victoria.

The parade will begin at 12.00pm (noon) at Government Street and Pandora Avenue, making its way towards the legislature, before finally finishing at MacDonald Park in James Bay. At the end of the parade, there will be a festival at the park with food vendors, KidZone, live entertainment, a beer garden, and more!
