Victoria International Cycling Festival (June 1-24, 2012)
From June 1 through to June 24, thousands of cyclists will gather in Victoria to enjoy dozens of different cycling events and activities. Victoria is known as the cycling capital of Canada, so it is only fitting that we host The Victoria International Cycling Festival – Canada’s biggest cycling celebration.
The Victoria International Cycling Festival exists to celebrate, support, and grow the culture of cycling in Victoria, in Canada, and along the West coast.
The premier event of the festival will be the Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria. This offers locals the unique opportunity to participate in a world class, fully supported mass participation road cycling event. You can choose from three distances, 140km, 100km, or 50km. Other events during the festival include JumpShip, Harbour Sprints, RollerJam Dual Trial, Pedalling Art, Family Bike Festival, Classic Bike Rally, and much much more!
