Victoria Home & Garden Show (March 9-11, 2012)
With spring just around the corner, the Victoria Home & Garden Show is returning to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for the weekend of March 9 to 11. Presented by the Canadian Home Builder’s Association of Victoria (CHBA), this year’s show features a special guest, Jillian Harris of Jillian Harris Design Inc, host of HGTV’s Canada’s Handyman Challenge, HGTV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and also ABC’s The Bachelorette. Jillian has been an interior designer for more than a decade and offers a refreshing “design by personality” philosophy to her clients.
There will be many exhibitors at the show displaying the latest and greatest in home & garden products and design ideas. CHBA members Small Modern Living and EcoTec Homes have partnered to create a show suite demonstrating laneway/garden housing unique to the Capital Region. The Studio37 Garden Home is a simple and versatile 400 square foot self-contained unit designed as a one bedroom, or office/ studio. The City of Victoria has recently included garden suites in their development/zoning guidelines. There will be a number of other demonstrations and exhibitors. For a complete list, click here.
There are also two great contests for this year’s show. The first is the chance to meet Jillian Harris in person at the show! For contest rules and how to enter, click here. There is also a contest for those people who are in dire need of a bathroom renovation in their house. The Ugly Bathroom contest requires you to bring a photo of your bathroom to the show or enter online here. The winner will receive a consultation with a CARE Award-winning designer and new bathroom fixtures with a retail value up to $5,000.

Friday, March 9, 12.00pm – 8.00 pm
Saturday, March 10, 10.00 am – 6.00 pm
Sunday, March 11, 10.00 am – 4.00 pm.

I am looking for the name and phone number of a booth display at your last March home show in Victoria. The booth was set up on the outer ring and they had the photos that could be put on canvas. They sold the canvas and frames as a kit. I hope you are able to look up the name and provide me with it as I am trying to purchase it.
