The 145th annual Saanich Fair will be the place to be this Labour Day weekend! To celebrate 145 years, the theme for this years’ fair is Hat’s Off! With over 5,000 exhibits, midway rides, traditional homemade treats and home grown veggies, the Saanich Fair has it all!

There’s something for everyone, so bring the whole family to learn about local farming from horses to horticulture and pigs and pickles. Other festivities during the weekend include acrobats on horseback, pie and ice cream eating contests, Highland Dancers, dog shows, duct tape contest, model boats, and much, much more!

On average, over 45,000 people attend the fair each year, which helps promote agriculture in the local community. The fair wouldn’t be what it is without the help of hundreds of volunteers who dedicate their time to bringing the best fair possible.
