Alpine Wine & Food Festival (Aug 24-25, 2012)
This weekend head to Mount Washington for the 14th annual Alpine Wine & Food Festival at Raven Lodge, starting on Friday, August 24 from 6.00-9.00pm.
Guests will enjoy wine from various vineyards, tastings from local food producers, a silent auction benefiting the Vancouver Island Mountain Sports Society and live music by the Wire Choir Jazz Trio. There will be a free shuttle to the event from the Driftwood Mall in Courtenay (will return guests to same location after event).
The Alpine Wine Pairing Dinner, held at the Alpine Lodge on August 25, will feature local ingredients in a 5-6 course meal with presentation by a sommelier.
