firesidegrillWho doesn’t love a good Sunday (or any day) brunch. With thoughts of fluffy eggs, crisp bacon, fresh fruit, and delicious pastries, we decided to try out Fireside Grill for their Sunday morning brunch.

We arrived shortly after their 10.00am opening time for Sunday brunch. We were seated immediately, and on the way to our table passed a line-up with many hungry faces eagerly awaiting the arrival of the food.

Sunday brunch is an all-you-can-eat style buffet, with plenty of choices to satisfy even the pickiest eater. All of the food was wonderfully presented, and you could easily tell the food was high quality, and not what you would expect when you hear the word buffet.

There was of course the typical offerings you would expect for brunch. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and fluffy. There was a good variety of crispy and non-crispy bacon. The sausages were surprisingly non-greasy, and the hash browns were delicious with red peppers thrown in for taste.

The eggs benny were also well cooked, with a nice runny yolk on a fresh muffin with just the right amount of sauce.

Also available were waffles and pastries, all fresh and delicious. Coffee and several different juices are included with your meal.

With the high quality, delicious tasting food comes a high price. Sunday brunch at the Fireside Grill costs $25 per person. While that may seem (and is for most) steep, you are definitely getting your money’s worth.

Will we try Fireside Grill for brunch again? Definitely. Will we make it a monthly routine? Probably not at that price.
