Brannigans Family Restaurant (Review)
Brannigans is a locally owned and operated family restaurant that has been open in Victoria for over thirty years. Brannigans is probably best known for their all day breakfasts with fluffy pancakes, omelettes, waffles, and more. Needing a quick breakfast before a round of golf at Cedar Hill Golf Course, I stopped in at their location on Cedar Hill Cross Road.
I ordered the Bacon and Eggs breakfast ($9.59), which is served with smoked bacon, two eggs, fresh cut pan fries and toast. I opted for my eggs to be scrambled. I was a little surprised at the small serving size of eggs, but they were freshly made and tasty. The pan fries were also good, with large, chunky pieces of potato. The bacon, ordered extra crispy, was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of crisp and not overcooked. The wholewheat toast was average, and was served with plenty of butter already on it. I would have preferred to have the butter served on the side.
Overall, for the quick service and price, it is tough to be disappointed with a breakfast at Brannigans. I would definitely recommend fuelling up here before your round of golf at Cedar Hill Golf Course.
